ABOUT Broadway Kidz Wisconzin
Broadway Kidz Wisconzin is a nonprofit 501c3 kids theatre company based in Madison, WI. After 3 years in exisitance, we are proud to be a part of the Madison theatre community. Our goal each season, is to produce a summer and winter musical to be performed at various venues in the Madison area. This season we are excited to bring our audience RENT at Overture Center for the Performing Arts. Our dedicated kids come from Madison and the surrounding areas, including Milwaukee to Spring Green and Janesville to Wisconsin Dells. Our goal is to offer kids the most professional theatre experience possible and to teach them to accept and embrace each others personalities and differences.
In the future we hope to offer musical theatre camps for Acting, Voice, Dance and Audition techniques as well as a "GLEE" type company to perform at various events in the Madison area. Our sister company, Broadway Madison offers theatre opportunites for all ages including adults.
MISSION:
Broadway Kidz Wisconzin's mission is to train and educate today's youth through musical theatre, to instill discipline and responsibility by encouraging students to set high artistic and personal goals, and to inspire them to become exemplary artists, patrons and citizens of tomorrow. BKW promises to create a transforming experience through active participation in theatre arts combining a fun, safe and supportive atmosphere with professional standards.
